For the first time ever two counties are combining forces and uniting at EADT EDP Norfolk & Suffolk Tourism Awards.

Hosted by East Anglian Daily Times and Eastern Daily Press, the awards boast 13 sought-after accolades to celebrate the very best of the region’s tourism industry which is a significant part of the economy in both Suffolk and Norfolk.


Whether your latest marketing campaign has captured the imagination of your audience or you have put new measures in place to make your business sustainable through better environmental practices – there’s a category for all organisations excelling in the world of tourism. Categories include:


• Food and Drink Tourism Attraction
• Broads Tourism Award
• Golden Years Award
• Customers at the Centre of Everything Award
• Best Independent Hotel Award.


If you’re looking for a highly credible and cost-effective way to raise your profile and boost your team’s morale, the Norfolk & Suffolk Tourism Awards are ready to help you kick-start 2018!


Here’s the fast facts:

Deadline: Entries must be submitted by Sunday 13th August* – and don’t forget you can enter more than one category.

Cost: The awards are free to enter with each finalist receiving a Norfolk & Suffolk Tourism Awards logo, certificate and coverage in EADT and EDP as well as social media coverage. Winners also receive a prestigious trophy to mark their achievement.

Judging Process: The first round of adjudication requires businesses to complete an online application including a written statement of approximately 600 words. You also have the opportunity to include supporting information to bring your entry to life. The majority of categories will be judged by an organised judging visit of 6- 8 businesses. The Best Small and Large Visitor Attraction of the Year category is judged by Shopper Anonymous whereby the business must agree to provide a family pass so that the visit can take place.
